“Dubrovnik is among the 10 best medieval walled cities in the world.” ~ Wikipedia
One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, and a stopping point for many cruises, this ancient walled city became a World Heritage Site in 1979.
Today a local guide escorts our group through the main structures and narrow streets of the ancient walled city complex. With two large cruise ships in port as well as several local tour groups the streets are crowded with visitors which makes getting around and staying up with our leader a bit more of a challenge.
Thankfully we have been issued “whisper” electronic devices with an earpiece that makes it easier to hear. The guide speaks into a headset microphone and everyone within range that has the receiver tuned to the correct channel can hear his/her voice in their individual earpiece.
GRATITUDE MOMENT: Today I am grateful for a hot bath and room service. After a dreary, cold, windy and rainy day it was wonderful to be able to pick up the phone and order a burger, fries and fresh fruit to be delivered to our room.
Enjoying this trip very much, just wishing I had room service.. . LOL

Thank you Tales of a Traveler. I hope you are able to get there before long. There were several big “Thones” fans in our group and they loved seeing the sights.
