We have returned to Southern California from our week in Illinois. The weather is mild with crisp mornings and sunny afternoons. Perfect sleeping weather.
The trees are beginning to turn colors.
I am anxious to be off on our travel adventures around the world. An occasional week here and there is simply a tease.
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under HeavenA time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late
Do you remember this oldie? Pete Seeger took the words from the Book of Ecclesiastes and with slight adaptation, set them to music. Originally recorded in 1962 and later covered by the Byrds in 1965 it became an International hit.
I am trying to patient. Really I am.
